about the Tracker project
As part of MPAC’s First 100 Days Campaign, we are launching an initiative to monitor and assess the nominations and appointments made by President-elect Donald Trump.
In tracking these appointments, we strive to provide an informed and accessible resource for our community, civil society, the media, and policymakers. Each nominee will be evaluated against their potential role in shaping policies that impact the American Muslim community. For nominees with long-standing patterns of promoting harmful rhetoric or discriminatory practices, we will highlight their past actions and explain why these should disqualify them from positions of public trust.
Additionally, we will engage our community and allies to amplify these findings, emphasizing the real-world consequences of appointing these individuals. Through direct engagement, social media campaigns, and partnerships with other organizations, we aim to hold the incoming administration accountable to the principle that leadership requires not just qualifications but also a commitment to uphold the rights and dignity of our community.
This initiative is not about partisan critique; it is about safeguarding the integrity of our system of governance and ensuring appointees are committed to serving all Americans, free of prejudice or bias.
